PSN, PSN Minis: Polar Panic semi-sequel coming to PSP Minis

UK studio Eiconic Games have decided to continue on with their block-pushing puzzler Polar Panic, releases last year on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, but instead have chosen to bring it to the handheld realm with Arctic Adventures.

Based on the trailer (via Pocket Gamer) it really does look exactly like the original game -- however they've stripped out the campaign mode and instead are dealing directly with brand new puzzle levels made exclusively for the Minis program.

Polar Panic wasn't a big hit on either platform, which is probably why this isn't being releases as DLC for the original games, but hopefully the game finds some new players on a new platform.

Comments

This is a nice thing. I was liking the Polar Panic a lot this Christmas on the XBLA. Is it not a hit? I was reading it is not liked by players? I find it very good!
