PSN: MonkeyPaw Games Bringing Over A Bunch Of Japanese PSOne Classics To The USA

chocho.jpg

Leaked via the ESRB, it has been revealed that MonkeyPaw Studios have plans to bring over several Japanese PSOne titles to the United States on the PlayStation Store.

MonkeyPaw is a recent endeavor by John Greiner, the previous CEO of Hudson USA, and has expressed bringing some of the more unique and bizarre titles of the past over to the West. The ESRB has revealed that their plans include the PSOne Classics Cho Aniki, GaiaSeed, Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty, Magical Drop F and Blockids.

Most of these are simple arcade titles, but perhaps some of the best. Magical Drop has had a very limited time in the West, but is well known for people a pretty great Puyo Pop esque title. Hopefully we'll see these out soon!

Is it real? Is it coming to the XBLA? In the title it is saying "XBLA: MonkeyPaw Games Bringing Over A Bunch Of Japanese PSOne Classics To The USA"? It is then a super news, I like the arcade classics and I like to play it on the XBLA. It is all Arcade games and 2d shootemups and it is missing now on the XBLA a lot in the past times. It is great, I hope the games are comming soon! I will buy all and I like the Gaia Seed the best I think!

I checked ESRB and they say its Playstation 3 only (so no XBLA). It is probably a part of the PSOne lineup they sell in the PSN Store. So he probably just mislabeled thie news.

Oh, yes, I was seeing it now, the title is changed and it is now saying PSN and not XBLA. It is sad, I was hoping for new arcade games for the XBLA. I hope something other is coming soon.

Sorry about that, folks - it's a PSN deal, not XBLA.
