XBLA, XBLA: Xbox Indies: Retrofit - Overload (Wam Games)
What if Namco's Galaga Legions was actually more like Galaga? It would have probably turned out like this.
Retrofit - Overload is a classic Arcade style shooter with a touch of Geometry Wars -- lots of ships flying in formation and nice explosion effects. While there are plenty of shooters out there in the XBLIG market, this keeps things nice and simple, and has a very nice cohesive graphical style.
You can grab it today for just 80MSP, a whole dollar. Or check out the demo -- it's a whole 3 Megabytes.

This is a very interesting game. It has not nice graphics but it plays very good. It is very small and makes a lot of fun when shooting with a full weapon at the aliens. It is a lot better as Galaga Legions by Namco.

Just bought this, it's maddeningly addictive ! and the minimal art style looks smart, especially the explosions. Complete steal for 80 points.

This damn game ate an hour of my life. How can they make it pay for a dollar ? Great fun.
