XBLA: Xbox Live Indies - Shoot 1UP Trailer (Nathan Fouts)

While Nathan Fouts is hard at work on Grapple Buggy, he's also announced a second title currently in the works for Xbox LIve Indie Games - Shoot 1UP.

Shoot 1UP is a top-down scrolling shooter, but with a twist - each life obtained is automatically added to your arsenal. Have 10 lives? You'll have 10 ships on screen.shooting the hell out of everything. It's a little similar to Galaga's double-ship mechanic, but a little crazier.

You can have up to 30 ships on screen at a time and play in 2 player co-op. The game is set to be released in January, but in the mean time follow Mommy's Best Games Twitter account, which might be giving away free download codes around the release.
