XBLA: Konami To Release Expensive Retail XBLA Compilations

konamiclassics.jpg

Amazon has revealed that Konami are bringing two compilations of Xbox Live Arcade games to the retail space, but don't expect a bargain.

Konami Classics Volume 1 will feature Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, Frogger and Super Contra, while Volume 2 will feature Contra, Rush'n Attack and Track & Field.

Each collection will cost $19.99 in the US - which means the first volume costs the same as it would to buy them all on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but it also means the second volume costs $5 more than the marketplace.

That's pretty crazy since they could so very easily throw in Time Pilot or something to make the difference, and is a horrible deal compared to Namco's Virtal Museum Arcade collection. You can't win 'em all, I guess.

Comments

I might get the first volume just for castlevania, the second one will be a no buy for me.
