While EA developed Monopoly for a variety of platforms last year, the PSP missed out. Now it appears the PSP will finally get a version, and it looks like it will be a download only affair.

Both the German USK and ESRB rating systems have had Monopoly PSP pop up over the past month despite no prior announcement by EA. The ESRB states that it supports up to four players to play - but whether this is pass 'n play (therefore, a PSP mini) or allow WiFi multiplayer (therefore, PlayStation Network exclusive) is unknown.

Considering neither the Xbox 360, PS3 or iPhone versions had any sort of online multiplayer, I would not expect it to pop up here at all. If anything it'll be based off of one of the two iPhone version currently available.

Expect to here more about the game in the next few weeks.
