PSN, XBLA: The First Trailer For Rocket Knight

As announced earlier this week, the first Rocket Knight trailer has now been released via Gamevideos.

Now I'm usually not very opinionated in these news posts... but this doesn't look good at all. It looks horribly slow and boring, and have very little that looks even remotely like the original games. The preview discussed how "expressive" Sparkster is in this new incarnation, when it couldn't look more bored in the world they've shoved him in. The incredibly low poly environments are a sham too.

I've got to say that this game has completely gone off my radar now. Not only does it not remotely look like the original games, it doesn't look like it's a very good game. What are Konami doing?

Comments

Gotta disagree, I think it looks lovely.

I think it looks promising. Don't knock it until you get to play it. Then you can "take the gloves off".
