WiiWare: Last Flight's Episodic Adventure Coming This Year

Last_Flight_ss01.jpg

It appears that Telltale aren't the only development house to try and make episodic WiiWare games - Bloober Team are working hard on Last Flight.

You play Larry, a poor fellow that just happened to be on the same flight as a not-so-dead Vampire in the cargo hold. Through the 4 separate episodes you'll be hacking and slashing your way through enemies using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. The developers have emphasized the "adventure" part of the package, which means the game might have more than one might see based on the screenshots.

The cell-shaded graphics look very nice, certainly better than most WiiWare titles. The first episode is set to come out later this year - but will the game be able to keep the gameplay fresh over 4 episodes? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Comments

Uh... character design does not look appealing...

Zombies, vampires, blood... I'm getting kind of tired of it.

If Mad World was any indication, I predict massive fail for this game. Gore and Wii don't seem to do well together.
