PSN, PSN Minis: Aqua Panic Coming To The PlayStation Network

Eko System's Lemmings-styled water puzzler is going High Definition, says the German USK rating system.

Aqua Panic has made its trip across multiple platforms - first a PSP title (known than as Downstream Panic), then making its way to the Nintendo DS and Wii in Europe. Despite the game getting some great reviews it was never able to achieve any mainstream success so it appears Eko are going to give digital distribution a shot on the PlayStation 3.

The game's ideals are similar to that of Lemmings - you're trying to save tiny fish from their doom dropping them into a clear area of water, avoiding the giant fish waiting to eat you at the bottom. Using bombs, fans and a variety of other objects you'll be able to get them all to safety.

Check out a trailer for the original game here. A new game has also been announced for the PSP minis with Aqua Panic! Oasis - I would imagine both it and Aqua Panic HD may compliment each other for those at home and on the go.

We should hope for an official announcement soon.
