Team 17 are finally bringing Worms to WiiWare after that strange retail Space Oddity game a year or so ago.

Worms: Battle Islands will include a single player campaign mode where you battle across numerous islands and earn new buildings and items. This actually sounds much more interesting than the simple Worms 2 Armageddon campaign.

The game will also include new weapons like an EMP grenade and a flare. It appears to also include many new favourites like a helicopter (Modern Warfare Style) and the Bull of lies. There is also a weapon factory where you can create your own weapons. Sounds better than the PlayStation Network version already.

And best of all, you can play multiplayer across Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection!

Apparently this game is set to be released later this month, so keep your eyes open for it.
