XBLA: TGS '09 - Snoopy Flies To Xbox Live Arcade

At the Tokyo Game Show Microsoft have revealed that Snoopy Flying Ace will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade, courtesy of Smart Bomb Interactive.

The game is, for the most part, an aerial dog fighting game where you and 15 other players can fight each other online. The game will support 9 different modes including airborne Rugby, and will also include a challenge mode that is playable by yourself or in local or online coop. You can also choose from 12 members of the original Peanut screw, or use your Xbox Live Avatar.

Snoopy Flying Ace had been spotted almost a year ago by Joystiq, but no platform had been announced. The original trailer showed on foot scenes as the Red Baron, but it looks like the game is a more streamlined experience now. The new trailer shows that you can get into a turret, so you still might be getting out of your plane on occasion.

Check out the official website here. The game is set to be released in 2010
