PSN Minis: Gameshastra Chooses Bit Sized Pricing For PSP Minis

minispricing.jpg

While it's been assumed that software on PSP Minis would be quite low, we have now got a bit of a confirmation from one specific developer, courtesy of GameShastra.

GameShastra is India's largest game development company and are looking to do a lot on the PSP minis service. GameShastra CEO Prakash Ahuja recently spoke to IndianVideoGamer about their prospects on PSP Minis, where they've revealed that they've got 30 games in the pipeline, and that all of Gameshastra's titles will retail for "between $1.50 and $2.50".

With many iPhone developers taking a keen look at the PSP minis program, it's not surprising that these games are priced similarly to that of the iPhone - but this also leads to the possibility that the pricing might take on 50 cent increments, which I believe the iPhone store does not support in the US.

Hopefully all will be revealed during the Penny Arcade Expo or the Tokyo Game Show.
