DSiWare: DSiWare Summit - Castle Of Magic, Completely 2D Adventure

[Edit: It appears that the game is actually a port of their other mobile version of the game, but appears largely retooled with better control and better graphics]

Gameloft are making a big splash across the digital download spectrum, but usually games across platforms have been very similar to each other. While Castle of Magic is well known as a popular iPhone title, this new DSiWare game is an entirely different adventure.

Castle of Magic will have you explore 5 different worlds to battle a variety of enemies using your many magical powerups. Unlike the iPhone version, which was 3D but running along a 2D plain, Castle of Magic is a wholly sprite based adventure but keeps the games' unique features.

The game will also feature a bizarre use of the DSi camera where you can plaster your face onto the hero's own. Looks weird but hey, who am I to judge? Imagine what you can do with that... on second thought, don't.

The game is set to be released next month, so it's not too far away now.
