XBLA: Because There Wasn't Enough Already This Week - 3 XBLA Titles Join Arcade Hits

Don't already have enough to check out this week? Well Microsoft have thrown even more into your lap - 3D Ultra Minigolf, Brain Challenge, and Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting are getting their prices permanently cut to 400MSP starting Wednesday.

Brain Challenge was released back in March of '08, and has already seen itself part of the Deals Of The Week program once. The game just got a sequel a few days ago on the iPhone, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see that on Xbox Live Arcade later down the line.

Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting already has its big brother on Xbox Live Arcade with HD Remix, but I guess with its release this game's sales have gone to a crawl. Will the price drop to $5 be a big enough push to bring it back in the Top 10 or has every single Street Fighter fan already grabbed one or the other?

3D Ultra Mini Golf was the first Golf game on XBLA, and one of Sierra's earliest digital titles. It's great to see that whoever is controlling the Sierra estate still seems to have an interest in the XBLA. There's a sequel still on the way too, but its been a while since we've heard anything about it.

3 new XBLA games, 3 new Arcade hits, and one Deal of the Week with new DLC? Chockers - but not very beneficial to those new releases. Next week's Top 10 is going to be very bizarre.

I wish they'd pick some of the real early XBLA titles for cutting back. Games like Wik and Mutant Storm Reloaded are still going for $10 after nearly 4 years.
