XBLA: Indie Watch - Deadline A Go! And Z0MB1ES!!!1

While there have been a large amount of new Xbox Indie Games out this week, two have been the standout titles - I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 and Deadline A Go!

Z0MB1ES is the newest game by Jamezila, creator of ZP2K9 and The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. This title is a very simple twin stick shooter. It's very simple but is fun - but it's main draw is the bizarre song playing throughout the game. The game is only 80MSP ($1) and supports 4 player cooperative play. Check out the video of it below, or download the trial here.

Deadline A Go! is a Desktop Tower Defense game in the style that Crystal Defenders followed - a strict line where you must place game developers around the office as as they battle the oncoming onslaught of game bugs! The game is unfortunately all in Japanese, so it's a little difficult to understand what everything is, but if the developer Zenryokutei can get himself some fellows to translate the game, I would grab it. Download the trial here.

"This video game product represents a culmination of years of intensive psychological research, bleeding edge engineering, and artistic collaboration by over two dozen internationally recognized art houses, using such technologies as the HYPERMAGIC 3.0 engine to power never-before-seen eye candy with the MEGACORE X parallelization processor for smooth-as-glass presentation."
