Patrick Klepek of G4TV.com has sussed out of Tecmo that the popular NES American Football title will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade next year.

Speaking to Tecmo about the announcement of Family Fun Football for the Nintendo Wii, Patrick asked about the lack of the previously announced Tecmo Bowl Wii, in which the Tecmo PR responded: "For now, we're focusing on bringing Tecmo Bowl to the Xbox LIVE Arcade [in] early 2010."

This would be Tecmo's first foray into digital downloadable games outside of the Virtual Console, where they did release the first non-NFL licensed Tecmo Bowl. Hopefully this new version will include a facelift and full online integration. Look for more at E3 next week.
