Here on GamerBytes I've previously rattled on about how the XNA Community Games channel hasn't been getting a whole lot of attention from the mainstream press. It also hasn't been taken advantage of by actual developers wanting to test the waters on some smaller games, though that seems to be changing.

The latest title on XNA Community Games, SuperCow, is just the kind of game I'm talking. Created by NevoSoft, SuperCow is a simple 2D platformer aimed at kids, but it comes with some nice, crisp graphics which you don't tend to see on XNA Community Games.

The game has appeared on many PC portals, including BigFishGames and GameHouse. It has now been ported to XNACG by a surprising benefactor - CTXM Games.

CTXM Games are the company behind many of the Xbox Live Arcade ports of PopCap games, including Zuma and Bejeweled 2. They're also headed to create the upcoming Warriors brawler as well.

SuperCow is the kind of game that can be easily ported to the XNACG Space, much like how games are getting ported over to the iPhone. It will be interesting to see how this game fares in the general marketplace, it could end up doing quite well for itself given the right push. It's available now for 400 Microsoft Points - definitely give it a go.
