XBLA: XNA Roundup: A New Show About The XNA Community Gamer

XNA Community Games don't get a whole lot of press. It's not surprising, with a wide range of quality on the service, but this grassroots movement has not caught on in the same way as the iPhone application store, which uses a similar scheme.

But there is a new grassroots movement through YouTube, started by a fellow called Nick. His show XNA Roundup, currently up to the fourth episode, checks out some of the top games released for the week.

Compared to an awful lot of YouTube shows, this one seems to actually be pretty good. He's not acting all wacky and desperate for attention (though the "thedude" postfix I could do without), he seems like he actually cares about the community, as well as a good eye for video editing.

This week's episode is all aboutMiner Dig Deep, one of the latest games on XNA Community Games. You can check out all of the episodes at his Youtube website, or you can download them as a video podcast via iTunes music store.
