WiiWare: Mr. Driller Burrows His Way To WiiWare

drillerwiiware.jpg

In the latest Famitsu Magazine, Namco Bandai have revealed that Mr. Driller World will be making its way to WiiWare in Japan.

The game basically looks similar to all the previous Mr. Driller games - get as far down as you can while grabbing more air. The game appears to have a new mode as seen in the left screenshot above, but I can't be a completely certain. It does look aesthetically better than last year's Mr. Driller Online for the Xbox Live Arcade though.

Mr. Driller World is set to be released on WiiWare in Japan in just a week's time for 800 Wii Points It will be coming the same day as a Nintendo DS variant, which seems to be closer to Mr. Driller Drill Spirits - one of the early retail Nintendo DS games.

Lame. I love Mr Driller and bought the 360 version, but it was so lazy. This already looks better.
