WiiWare: Let's Catch Getting English Release

Alongside today's Australian classification for Virtual On, Sega also rated another strange title they released in Japan last year - Prope's Let's Catch.

Let's Catch is self explanatory - you play catch. In essence it recreates the "thrill" of throwing a ball in the back yard or playground. It's best to look at this video to truly understand the game's concept.

It's not just catching though - the game also includes panel hitting minigames, bomb toss minigames, as well as a story mode.

The game was very much a Japanese concept, being that many Japanese kids probably don't get outside all that much. It's the same idea as Nintendogs, essentially. What this does do is give hope that Sega's even more bizarre game Pole's Big Adventure could somehow make it across to the west. Now that would be something to see.
