Double Six Studios have let us know that they've released new footage of their upcoming PlayStation Network exclusive title Burn Zombie Burn!

The videos show several different mechanics used in the game. Burning a Zombie before you shoot them makes the score multiplier go up - but they'll become more dangerous this way. If you lose a life, you'll lose all your powerups and start at square one.

The game also does not use a dual stick movement system, citing that weapons like the baseball bat wouldn't work in that sort of environment. Other weapons available in the game include chainsaws, lawnmowers, a brain gun and dance gun.

The video below (and a second one, which you can view further down) show off just two of the six levels that will be available in the game. It should be getting a release very soon.
