XBLA: XBLA & CG Activity For Week Of December 1st

x360logo.pngStarting this week Major Nelson will begin to post not only the Top 10 Xbox Live Arcade titles, but the top XNA Community games too, and there certainly are some weird games popping up.

Firstly, it appears that Super Street Fighter II Turbo continues to be the top game of the week, despite Banjo-Kazooie releasing last week. This does make some sense since the game was released for those who preordered Nuts & Bolts beforehand.

Community games certainly is a weird bunch though. Games like In The Pit, Head Banger and Swords of Monsters got into the top 10 while games like Blow, Lines and Biology Battle, which I consider to be the top tier of Community Games right now, are not present at all. Word Soup is doing very well for itself, not surprising since it's quite a popular parlor title in the UK.

Top Arcade Titles (Full Versions purchased)
1 Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
2 Banjo-Kazooie
3 A Kingdom for Keflings
4 UNO
5 Castle Crashers
6 Worms
7 Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
8 Aegis Wing
9 Bomberman Live
10 Portal: Still Alive

Top Community Games NEW! (Full Versions purchased)
1 Word Soup
2 Golden Royal Blackjack
3 Weapon of Choice
4 Colosseum
5 ZSX4 Guitarpocalypse
6 Sin(Surfing)
7 In the Pit
8 Head Banger
9 Snake360
10 Swords and Monsters

Comments

I think Blow (and other quality titles) are getting hurt by the forced 4 min trial. You can't get the scope or full concept of it in just 4 mins.

Blow is definitely worth the purchase though.
