XBLA: The Maw Wins Audience Choice Award At PAX '08

Twisted Pixel's The Maw has won the PAX10 audience choice award from the Penny Arcade Expo this year.

The audience choice award was given by players of the game at PAX. There were ten games on show, including another XBLA game Schizoid, and other favorites such as Audio Surf.

"The intense sense of purpose and camaraderie amongst The PAX 10 was astonishing," commented Michael Wilford of Twisted Pixel. "We feel extremely lucky to have been chosen from such an august group and grateful to have been a part of the PAX experience."

Good on them. It's shaping up to be a great game. Nice to know it won too - I was getting a little afraid that people think it might be too "cute" for the Xbox audience. This and Banjo Kazooie XBLA should fill my real need for some old fashion platforming for this winter.
