PSN: Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer Coming To North American PSN In October

Long time coming side-scrolling shooter Söldner-X will be finally coming to the PlayStation Network this October - and will also include trophy support.

The original release of the game was on the PC back in 2007, and also had a ridiculously huge advertisement deal with Play-Asia.com. While a PlayStation Network release was announced as well, it's been some time since we've heard much about it. Now we can confirm that the game will have several new features:

- Visual improvements including y-scrolling, new background animations, newly added effects and more - Contains new enemies, including newly crafted standard foes and larger sub boss battles - 7 new music tracks - Additional boss battle and berserker mode background music - New sound effects added for an enhanced gaming experience - Rebalanced game play with an easier default difficulty - Rebalanced high score system, including new victory screens - DUALSHOCK®3 and optional SIXAXIS™ support - Trophies support

The PC game got few reviews, but were overall quite positive. Certainly one of the prettiest shooters out there. You can check out a ton of new PS3 screenshots of the game here.
