XBLA: Plain Sight - A New XNA Game Hoping To Get To Xbox Live Arcade

Beatnik Games have announced their first title for the PC platform and hopefully the Xbox Live Arcade - Plain Sight, a game about Robots beating each other up.

The games rule set is simple - as set down by their website:

So you run around, trying to kill people, while also waiting for the perfect chance to blow yourself up? Sounds interesting. It's all in the vein of a 3D platformer as well - something rarely seen through the XNA framework, which has usually been dealing with 2D games.

The game is being built on the XNA framework - so it will work fine on an Xbox 360 unit. Right now they haven't been able to work out a deal with Microsoft for getting onto the XBLA, but hope to get that all sorted - or at least, get it working on XNA community games.

Check out their website for a video and a bunch of screenshots. Later this week we'll be posting a new interview with the developers on how their game formed, and how its been dealing with Microsoft's XNA framework.
