XBLA: Le Tour de France 2008 For XBLA. Pro Cycling Manager?

Todays PEGI update brings something I don't think anyone was expecting to the table -
Le Tour de France 2008 The Official Game appears to be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade.

From what I can tell, based on the URL left on the site, this game is a variation of the PC title Pro Cycling Manager 2008. The games objective is to take control of a team of racers on the Tour De France as their manager - including recruiting and training new riders, balancing the budget and scheduling races.

It's got a small following on the PC - it's had several versions since 2005 so it's been able to continue a legacy of sorts. It's clearly more for Europeans who follow the Tour De France constantly, much like your Football Managers and such. Looking at the PC version it's pushing a pretty good looking engine along with it.

We should know more soon. Will an American audience actually warm up to such a game? I wouldn't bet on it, but you never know - they are releasing NFL Head Coach to retail.

Oh hell yeah!!! Never saw it coming, what a surprise!

I've never played a cycling game on console, I can't wait for this first-time ever.

Will I be able to give my team steroids?

Won't be a real simulator of the sport otherwise...

Browsing the PEGI Ratingboard, I also found ratings for Pipe Mania & Golden Axe 2 for XBLA :)

Golden Axe 2 has been up there for a long, long while, but there is very little doubt that it will get there. It actually appears, while Golden Axe one does not. I think that's a mistake.

Pipe Mania has appeared - I haven't mentioned it since it's been announced :)
