Today's Australian Classification update brings a clue as to what Hudson Entertainments next WiiWare title will be - a Snooker game.

The rating for Cue Sports - Snooker Vs Billiards has the classic case for being a WiiWare title, with the author and publisher all being Hudson themselves, which has been the same for Bomberman Blast, My Aquarium and other WiiWare titles. Hudson games that are published on disc media for Wii are usually distributed by Nintendo themselves, or Atari Australia.

It's an odd choice to be sure. With Star Soldier R, Bomberman, Alien Crush and the like a new Adventure Island or Bonk title could have been the next step.

You may also be thinking "Hey, didn't Midnight Pool come out today? Isn't that the same thing?" Surprisingly no. Midnight Pool strictly uses the Pool game type - 8-ball U.S. rules, 8-ball UK rules and 9-ball. Snooker is another rule type, while Billards is the father set of Pool, and has a lot of variations. Which variations will be included is up for speculation.
