PixelJunk Eden had a lot of hype around it. People fell in love with PixelJunk Monsters and were awaiting PixelJunk Eden, causing plenty of hype. The simple design of the characters and levels made it stand out against everything else that was coming out, and it looked great.

The final game is pretty good - it's got some thumping music, and does exactly what it set itself out to do. While I did enjoy the game, I did find it a little disappointing. It did look to be a relaxing experience, but in the end became quite a frustration to play. Just how you can fall to your death all the time and miss by a smidge can make a man yell at your TV.

Thankfully, there is a demo available, so you can make up your own minds about the game. Definitely give it a go and see if it sticks.
