PSN: Burnout Paradise Releasing This Week On PSN

Criterion Games have revealed that the PSN version of Burnout Paradise will be released this Thursday on the North American PlayStation Store for $29.99.

An interesting thing to note is that the game, when initially downloaded, will only include everything from the retail release. Once you download it, you will be then asked to download all the patches and updated from the server - including the Trophies and Bikes updates.

So in all, it's actually just the retail release of the game, but downloadable. It's not an entirely new skew that had to go through retesting or anything. It certainly makes the case of downloading more retail games entirely through the PSN something a little more plausible.

Burnout Paradise, Mega Man 9 AND Wipeout HD? Best week of PSN ever. Now let's see Europe get screwed once again.
