PSN: Savage Moon Confirmed For PS3, Bug Filled Tower Defence

savage-moon_2.jpg

It popped up onto the German rating system website a couple of weeks ago, and now we have confirmation - Savage Moon is a PSN title, and a Tower Defense tactical game as well!

PS3Fanboy have picked up several new images of the game, though all we've got about the game is a small blurb in the general PSN press release:

"Classic tower strategy gameplay heads into outer space in Savage Moon™, as players attempt to protect an isolated planetary outpost from rampaging hordes of gigantic, ravenous space bugs. Position your towers in the best position possible to beat the bugs and convert your victory points into weapons that suit your preferred tactics. Classic strategy gaming meets interstellar gameplay with endless strategic possibilities – can you beat the bugs and save the moon?"

Looks good, but will it stack up to PixelJunk Eden in terms of playability and fun? Actually, a good comparison might be between Savage Moon and the upcoming Defense Grid for Xbox Live Arcade, which are both Tower Defense style games which also seem to be going for a similar style.
