Pirates was an unknown before release. Let's be honest - that's the gist of most WiiWare releases. The reviews have been very average, mostly due to a very linear single player mode which doesn't appear to have much of a payoff in the end. The Multiplayer is apparently fun, but not enough to be worth your ten bucks.
