Sierra's Sea Life Safari for Xbox Live Arcade has gotten plenty of reviews - both up and down, but it's not too difficult to see why - Sea life Safari is about as 'casual' as you can get. Hell, it's essentially made for young children.

It's main problem is that it's not 100% Pokemon Snap, the only other equivalent game. Options like speeding up your vehicle so you could go back and get that one shot you want a lot easier would have been nice, and something actually educational about the fish you were taking pictures of would have been a great addition too. Since it's not Pokemon it doesn't have that same kind of draw, but it's certainly a unique title for the platform.

Paul Curthoys for the OXM review got his 4 year old daughter to have a go at Sea Life Safari, and she had a blast. That's probably the best way to view something like this.

Kind of surprised by the super low reviews. For $10 it does what it attempts to do very well.

Personally I avoid Hilary Goldstein reviews like the plague, but it's not like he's alone this time around lol.
