The OFLC web site updated over the weekend with an entry for Zen Studios' new XBLA game ROCKY AND BULWINKLE but this comes with some confusion attached to it:

1. Rocky And Bullwinkle was rated some time ago, under the name 'The Bullwinkle Show'
2. Bullwinkle is spelled incorrectly!

It has come up as a "Revised" listing, since the original was published back in the middle of November, but why the name change?

It looks like Undertow is getting a second week to shine all by itself this week. Shame, it would have been great to get Battlezone or Warlords out of the way as well.

Microsoft have announced that they are holding the first Xbox Live Arcade Awards, with several categories which the community can vote for their favourite XBLA games of 2007. The public voting categories are:


· Best Overall Arcade Game
· Best Classic Game
· Best Original Game
· Best Family Friendly Game
· Best Competitive Multiplayer Game
· Best Cooperative Multiplayer Game


Categories which will be chosen by Microsoft themselves will be:

Other award categories include the following:
· Best selling game
· Most played game
· Highest rated game
· Staff choice

They allow you to select from a set of choices, or you can send in your own suggestion. Poor Gripshift was left out in the cold!

Voting begins Tuesday, 22nd January at 10:00 a.m. GMT. and runs until Wednesday, 30th January at 07:59 a.m. GMT. Microsoft will announce the winners at GDC in February, most likely at the XNA conference.

The Bionic Commando website has updated with a new podcast - this week having BC: Rearmed director Simon Viklund as their special guest.

"Simon Viklund, the Director of Bionic Commando Rearmed, joins the podcast today to tell us all about this fantastic return to side-scrolling action. Everything you want to know about Rearmed is right here. The multi-talented Simon also makes all of us feel worthless in comparison, as he discusses the music in Bionic Commando, where he is the Sound Director."

IGN have put up a new preview of Rez HD up, including a few choice quotes of Tetsuya Mizuguchi himself:

"If you listen to the sounds, the music, you can feel the color," Mizuguchi told IGN as he explained that Rez HD is just as much an experience as it is a game. As is the trademark of Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment, the sounds and vibration are intricately woven into the gameplay. Sierra's upcoming XBLA tile Aces of the Galaxy has just been rated by the OFLC, with a PG rating. Usually this means it may be near competion, or will be showing up on Test kits for Preview Purposes, so we should hear more soon.

Xbox360Fanboy.com have posted a new interview with Japanese Capcom Producer Ben Judd.

"We know that Master D and the Badds are coming back for Rearmed in North America, but what about Japan? Will the Japanese version feature Nazis and Hitler as enemies, as in the original Japanese Bionic Commando?

That's a good question. Rearmed has been titled "Master D's Resurrection Plan" in Japan. We've literally taken the English translation and re-translated that into Japanese to form the base of the game. We needed to make sure we had one unified story and since the current political climate and ratings standards would make releasing the original unedited version in Japan impossible, I think it's the best way to present the game."

1UP's resident Mizuguchi fanboy James Mielke has discovered that Rez HD is definitely coming out this week! To celebrate this occasion, 1UP has put together a collection of Rez-related stories they've done over the years, as well as a new interview with the man.

During the interview, 1UP confirms that there will be some bonus content for those who love Rez - by playing through the game with 100 percent shot down of enemies and items, you can play as a Morolian Alien from Space Channel 5 - a feature previously available in Japanese versions of the game. If that's too hard for you, simply play the game for over 10 hours and you'll get the same outcome!

The ESRB has done an end-of-week update with the rating of Konami's up and coming (but still not officially announced) game, Coffeetime crosswords. It has been given an E rating, but does include Alcohol and Tobacco Reference. A little odd, that.

They've also finally rated Rez (took their time with that one), as well as both Rocky & Bullwinkle AND The Bullwinkle Show much like the OFLC did a week ago. Sounds like Zen are just covering their bases.
